Evening & Weekend Appointments Available "On-Site" Diagnostic Service/Repair Even when covered by warranty, many people can't afford to have their computer "in the shop", for any length of time. Even when computer repairs can be completed, at the service counter, it's a hassle to disconnect, transport, and reconnect the computer system. Especially to find that the "repairs" aren't complete and/or aren't compatible with your software or equipment. I will come to your office/home, diagnose your computer problems, and in most cases, do the repairs, immediately. Once the repairs are completed, the system is checked with all of your peripherals to insure that everything is working properly. Top of Page"Virus", "Worm", and "Spyware" Removal Nothing can be more frustrating than a slow computer, unless it's a computer that doesn't function at all. There are about 60,000 computer viruses at large. Some are of the "annoyance" variety and cause keyboard lock ups, pop up messages, etc. Some are of the "catastrophic" variety and can wipe out your data, send your data to others, etc. With the latest diagnostic tools, I can search out and remove any "viruses" or "worms" from your system. The newest plague to the computer is "Spyware". Installing some software, or even visiting some web sites, can install some version of "Spyware" on your computer. "Spyware" is used to monitor your web usage, e-mail usage, and place "cookies" on your computer to identify you, when you go to some web sites. I can scan your computer, including the memory, registry, and hard disk drive to find and remove any "Spyware" files. Buying a new computer system every 2 to 3 years isn’t an option for most people. In fact, that older computer might just need a little more memory, more hard drive space, or some added peripherals to improve performance. Sometimes it’s even more cost-effective to replace the motherboard and CPU instead of buying a new computer and re-installing all of the software applications. (Can you really remember where you put all of those software disks?) There are a lot of options available to meet your specifics needs. I can perform most upgrades “on-site” minimizing your system “downtime” and making sure that all your existing hardware and software are compatible with your upgrade. Note: If your computer was built before 1999, it may require a motherboard BIOS update before it will recognize a Hard Disk Drive over 30 Gigabytes. Your best gage for determining if you should upgrade or purchase a new system are the applications that you intend to run. Click Here - for Upgrade Specials! Top of PageInstalling new software can be frustrating to any computer user. In spite of the improvements made by software vendors, if your system is not properly prepared, conflicts may occur with existing applications and/or hardware. I will come to your office/home, prepare your system, and install/setup your new applications to insure that everything works properly with your existing applications and equipment. Top of PageWireless Technology has made it easier to share your office/home computer files, Internet connection, printers, etc. However, security of your important data can be a factor when connecting to a wireless network.
